FAQs

Do I need a lymphedema diagnosis to receive services?

1

No. While I treat individuals with physician-diagnosed lymphedema, a diagnosis is not required for all services. I also work with clients experiencing post-surgical swelling, fluid retention, or discomfort related to recovery or wellness goals.

What conditions do you treat?

2

I provide care for lymphedema, post-surgical swelling, cancer-related swelling, chronic edema, fluid retention, and recovery-related concerns. Services range from medically indicated treatment to restorative and aesthetic lymphatic care.

What is lymphatic drainage, and how does it help?

3

Lymphatic drainage is a gentle, specialized technique that supports the movement of lymphatic fluid. It can help reduce swelling, improve comfort, support healing after surgery, and promote overall balance in the body.

The techniques may overlap, but the goals differ. Medical lymphatic care focuses on managing diagnosed conditions like lymphedema, while aesthetic lymphatic drainage is often used to reduce post-procedural swelling, support recovery, or promote general wellness.
